Download app for Child's Phone

Do your kids ever avoid your calls? Is child communication important to you? Do they feel that their games, tv, and other distractions are more important than your calls?  Then I CALLED TWICE is for you!!   First missed, ignored, or avoided call = a large warning banner. Second missed call in (default 5) min = lockdown

On setup, you select up to 4 existing contacts. Triggering emergency contacts. The app monitors for missed calls from these contacts.

On the first missed, ignored, or avoided call. From any triggering emergency contact, brings up an unmistakable missed call banner.

The second missed call. In the pre-setup time, triggers the unpassable lockdown screen. On lockdown the child’s phone automatically sends the avoided triggering contact... First a gps pin location, sent via text!! If they aren't communicating, at least you will know where they are. Second the randomly generated unlock code via text, that they need, to unlock their phone.

Continue below for more detailed setup instructions.

I CALLED TWICE®

"When they won't answer your call, they can't ignore you twice."

Specifically designed so parents, guardians , mother's,  fathers, grandparents, can't abuse it, and the children, kids, teens and teens have the power to never allow lockdown by communicating. If they don't, they hand the power over to the adults and family.

* No information is stored or kept by us. all functions work on one device.

 Registered trademark. Patent pending.

(How it works)

*You set up 4 trusted, triggering contacts. *The phone monitors for missed calls from up to 4 contacts. *If two calls from the same triggering contact are missed* * within a short time (default: 5 minutes) * *lockdown begins instantly* *(Let's be honest, we won't call twice in 5 min unless you really need them to answer your call).

(setting up the app on the child's phone)

* Contact #1 will setup the app during initial setup. *Giving all permission's and selecting the other (optional) emergency contacts, and their (optional) router. *See router setup at the end.

(Contacts 2, 3, and 4)

*Contacts 2, 3, and 4 can set up their router to be a part of the I Called Twice system. *When the phone is at their home. *By selecting the app icon. *Then selecting their name for setup. *See router setup at the end.

(During lockdown)

The phone locks immediately, via a non-passible screen. That only allows text and calls to and from the pre-assigned contacts and your local emergency services (911).

*

A random unlock code is automatically text to the triggering contact. The child needs this code to unlock their phone.

*

A one-time GPS pin location pin is sent to triggering contact. All other functions work but are not accessible.

(Optional)

* Wi-Fi access, on lockdown, is shut down to all tablets, PlayStations, Xboxes, video games, tv apps ect. *If they are setup on a compatible guest network. *On setup you will need to create a guest network and all Wi-FI devices, that need shut down on lockdown are moved to that network.

(Unlocking)

*The child will need the random unlock code that was text to you on lockdown, to unlock their phone and turn on their devices. *You can wait until communication and verbally give the unlock code. or you can simply text the code back and the app will unlock. (maybe after doing a chore?)

(If they try to turn off the phone to avoid a missed call)

*Only if you call and the phone is off. (when they try to avoid triggering a missed call) *You can text the word LOCK, by itself, and when the phone turns on, your lock text will be received. *The phone will detect the LOCK text. *You will be notified when the unlock code and GPS text from lockdown is sent to you.

(Setting up the guest network)

*Connect the child's phone to the home Wi-Fi. *Once connected to the normal home Wi-Fi. *Select the connected network. *Select the gear settings icon for the Wi-Fi. *Select manage Wi-Fi. *You will be taken to the web page to set up your password and guest network. *Once setup. *Enter the credentials into the child's, I Called Twice app on their phone. *Do the on and off test a minute apart and you're done.
